Product Description
FOX SILAN FR115 is a silane-siloxane based, solvent-borne, hydrophobic, transparent impregnation material that imparts water-repellent properties to the treated surface. Its low molecular weight ensures high penetration into the substrate; it preserves the natural appearance of exterior facade coatings without forming a film layer. It can be used on low-absorption surfaces such as concrete, marble, granite and slate, as well as on absorbent surfaces such as brick, coloured block, aerated concrete, travertine and tuff stone. It is resistant to alkalis, UV radiation and freeze-thaw cycles while maintaining vapour permeability. It is also preferred for protecting historic structures against atmospheric effects.

Surface Preparation
Before application, all dust, dirt, grease and loose particles that would reduce adhesion must be removed from the surface. Lime, mortar, algae, fungi and similar contaminants on the surfaces to be treated must be cleaned with FOX CLEANER BLUE FR330.

Mixing
FOX SILAN FR115 is ready to use. It must not be mixed with any other material. WATER MUST ABSOLUTELY NOT BE ADDED.

Application
FOX SILAN FR115 should be applied to dry surfaces using a suitable roller, brush or spray machine to achieve maximum penetration on the first coat. The second coat should be applied approximately 4 hours later. On highly absorbent surfaces, one additional coat may be required. A minimum of 2 coats is recommended.

The substrate temperature during application must be between +5°C and +25°C. Application must not be carried out outside this temperature range.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, between +5°C and +30°C. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Opened containers must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.

Store in the original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from frost.
Information
The technical values above are given at +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Higher temperatures shorten the time; lower temperatures extend it.
