Product Description
FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 is a polymer-modified resin-based, single-component, ready-to-use special primer. Its formulation adapts equally well to absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, and stands out for its high adhesion strength, solvent-free composition, and odourless nature. Its light blue colour provides visual control on the applied surface, facilitating quality assurance. FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 can be used on a wide range of surfaces including concrete, cement screed, calcium sulphate screed, magnesite screed, mastic asphalt, plaster, wood, OSB, MDF, and ceramic. It is suitable as a primer under self-levelling screed and decorative coating systems (FOX SSL® series, FOX ROCKTOP FF100, FOX DOMINO® MULTI series, FOX BETONAGE®), prior to floor levelling screeds, and before ceramic adhesive applications. It maintains its performance on interior and exterior surfaces, both vertical and horizontal. Thanks to its water-based formulation, the product is diluted with water only, at ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on the surface type. With a consumption range of 100–250 gr/m² and a drying time of 2–4 hours, it offers efficient application. It can be safely used in enclosed spaces; its VOC content is below the EU limit value of 30 g/l.

Application Steps
- 1
Surface Preparation
The application surface must be sound, dry, dust-free, and clean. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned of all oil, grease, rust, and paraffin residues that could weaken adhesion, and there must be no loose particles on the surface.
- 2
Mixing
FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 is mixed using an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm, adding water in the quantities specified in the technical data, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- 3
Application
FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 is poured onto the cleaned and prepared surface. The material is applied uniformly to the surface using a brush or roller. Pooling on the surface must not be allowed.
- 4
Cleaning of Application Tools
After application, tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water. Once FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.
