Product Description

FOX SEALPLUS FM501 is a concrete admixture containing Lignin Sulphonate and surfactants that reduces water demand, increases waterproofing, entrains limited air, and provides plasticising properties. The product is used as an admixture in the production of all types of concrete that will be in continuous or limited contact with water. It is compatible with all cement types and mineral additions such as microsilica, fly ash, and slag.

Advantages

  • Increases impermeability against capillary water absorption.
  • Reduces water and cement content in concrete without reducing workability.
  • Ensures easy pumping and smooth placement of concrete during casting.
  • Facilitates screeding and finishing during concrete casting.
  • Chloride-free.

Usage Areas

  • Used as an admixture in the production of all types of concrete that will be in continuous or limited contact with water.

Application Steps

  1. 1

    Pre-Mixing

The binder and aggregate must be mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  2. 2

    Admixture Addition

After half of the mixing water has been added to the mix, FOX SEALPLUS FM501 is added together with the remaining half of the water.

  3. 3

    Final Mixing

FOX SEALPLUS FM501 must be mixed for at least 1 minute, or for the duration determined by laboratory tests, to ensure thorough dispersion into the mix.

Critical

Application temperature must be between +5°C and +35°C. Application must not be carried out outside this range.

Critical

FOX SEALPLUS FM501 must be mixed for at least 1 minute, or for the duration determined by laboratory tests, to ensure thorough dispersion into the mix.

Important

The dosage must be determined in advance by laboratory tests according to the concrete class.

Important

If the product has frozen, it must be thawed at room temperature without the use of direct heat and mixed mechanically until homogeneous. Compressed air must not be used during mixing.

Important

When stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, between +5°C and +30°C, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Important

Must be stored in its original unopened packaging, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost.

Important

For short-term storage, a maximum of 3 pallets may be stacked on top of each other and shipment must follow a first-in, first-out system. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked.

Critical

It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flames; these areas must be ventilated.

Critical

Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn during application. Contact with skin and eyes must be avoided; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. In case of ingestion, seek medical attention immediately.

Important

Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Must be stored out of reach of children.
