FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI is an acrylic-elastomeric resin-based, fibre-reinforced, single-component, UV-resistant, ready-to-use elastic waterproofing material. Product Description
FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI is a modified acrylic-elastomeric resin-based, fibre-reinforced, single-component, ready-to-use elastic waterproofing material. Thanks to its UV-resistant structure, it can be used in both vertical and horizontal applications on roofs, terraces, gutters and building facades. With 150% elongation, it provides resistance against surface movements. Compliant with TS EN 1504-2 Principle 1.3, 2.2, 8.2, the product is solvent-free, ensuring safe application. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray; it can be tinted with paste pigments and, once dry, painted over with acrylic-based exterior paint.

Application Steps

Surface Preparation
The surface to be treated must be sound, free from all oils, grease, rust, paraffin, paint and bitumen residues that could impair adhesion, with all loose particles removed, and dry. Newly plastered (lime-free) and reinforced concrete surfaces must be allowed to complete a 28-day curing period. On uneven surfaces, surface defects must be repaired with FOX MORTAR FC188 T, and chamfers of 4 cm radius must be formed at corners and edges. Care must be taken to prevent water ponding on the waterproofed surface. Deep cracks must be filled with FOX PURSEAL PS600.

Mixing
FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI must be mixed for 3–5 minutes using an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm with a suitable mixing paddle.

Priming
A primer prepared by adding 50% water to FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI must be applied to the surface by brush, roller or spray.

Coating
After the primer has dried, FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI must be applied to the surface by brush, roller or spray to achieve a wet film thickness of 1.00–1.50 mm. At corner joints and cracks, after the 1st coat application, a fibre-reinforced waterproofing mesh must be embedded and then the 2nd coat applied.

Tinting
FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI is produced in white. It can be tinted with paste pigments at a rate not exceeding 5% of the material quantity. Once dry, it can be painted over with acrylic-based exterior paint.

Tool Cleaning
After application, tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water. Once FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.

FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI is not suitable for water tanks, swimming pools or foundation waterproofing.

The applied material must be protected from rain and frost for the first 24 hours.

Each coat thickness in applications must not exceed 1.00–1.50 mm.

Precautions must be taken on surfaces that require foot traffic.

The product must be stored in its original, unopened packaging in a dry and cool environment (between +5°C and +30°C), protected from sunlight and frost. FOX WATERPROF® FS100 ELYAFLI freezes at temperatures below 0°C.

Opened packages must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.

During storage and application, avoid contact with skin and eyes; if contact occurs, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flames; these areas must be ventilated.
Important
During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.

The shelf life of the product is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the specified storage conditions are observed.
