Product Description
FOX THERM-ALL® PRO FT387 is a cement-based, polymer and inorganic additive-modified, fibre-reinforced, elastic general-purpose ready-to-use render. It is specifically designed for direct application onto external facade boards and thermal insulation boards. It meets the CSIV compressive strength class, Wc1 water absorption class and A1 reaction-to-fire class in accordance with TS EN 998-1:2016/GP.
The material, composed of mineral fillers, synthetic additives and special polymers, can also be used on concrete, prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, cement-bonded particle boards and previously rendered surfaces. The fibre reinforcement prevents surface cracking, while the elastic structure provides resistance to movement and vibration. Application thickness is between 3–5 mm, offering an open time of approximately 45 minutes.
Advantages
- Provides excellent adhesion.
- Developed for external facades, provides excellent adhesion to fibre-reinforced external facade boards.
- Has a flexible structure.
- Prevents surface cracking thanks to fibre reinforcement.
- Easy to prepare and apply.
- Long open time.

- Creates a surface ready for paint or mineral render application.
- Resistant to freeze-thaw cycles.
Usage Areas
- Used as a surface render on external facade boards and thermal insulation boards in all types of buildings.
- Used for coating concrete, prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, cement-bonded particle boards and previously rendered surfaces.
Application Steps
- 1
Surface Preparation
The surface of the thermal insulation board to be applied must be free of dust and dirt. Mechanical dowelling must also be completed beforehand.
- 2
Mixing
The appropriate amount of water indicated on the packaging is poured into a clean mixing container. FOX THERM-ALL® PRO FT387 is slowly added to the water while mixing with an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm for approximately 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. Ensure no lumps remain in the mix. Approximately 6,00±0,25 lt of water should be used per 25 kg / 1 bag, and approximately 240±10 ml per 1 kg.
- 3
Maturation
After mixing, the material is left to rest for 3–5 minutes, then re-mixed for 1 minute before use.
- 4
Application
The evenness and soundness of the surface to be applied are checked. On dry-wall board joints, the product is applied together with alkali-resistant joint tape. Rendering of the surface may begin at least 1 day after the jointing process is complete. After one coat of render is applied to thermal insulation boards and dry-wall boards, the render mesh is embedded into the first coat. After the first coat has dried, the second coat of render is applied to complete the process. Application thickness may be 3–5 mm.
- 5
Primer Application
If the surface is to remain unpainted for more than 3 weeks, FOX THERM-ALL® COATPRIM FT110 / FOX DECODUR PRIMER should be applied immediately. The same primer must also be re-applied before the paint application.
- 6
Tool Cleaning
After application, tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water. Once FOX THERM-ALL® PRO FT387 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.
Application should not be carried out if the ambient and surface temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C; suitable temperatures must be awaited.
For outdoor applications, the product must be protected from sunlight, rain, wind and frost for the first 24 hours.
For the material to complete its curing, the substrate temperature and ambient temperature must not fall below the permitted minimum temperature.
If the surface is to remain unpainted for more than 3 weeks, FOX THERM-ALL® COATPRIM FT110 / FOX DECODUR PRIMER should be applied immediately.
Working and reaction times of cement-based products are affected by air temperature, humidity and substrate temperatures. High temperatures accelerate hydration; low temperatures slow it down.
Ensure no lumps remain in the mix. The material should be allowed to mature for 3–5 minutes and then re-mixed for 1 minute before use.
Opened packaging must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.
The product must be stored between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
For short-term storage, pallets must not be stacked more than 3 high; for long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other.
Protective clothing, gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn during application. Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flames; areas must be ventilated.
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Store out of reach of children.
The technical values above are given for conditions of +23°C and 50% relative humidity.
