Usage Areas

  • Used for rendering brick, blockwork walls, concrete, fair-faced concrete, aerated concrete, gypsum plaster, gypsum concrete and ceiling surfaces in interior and exterior applications.

Application Steps

  1. 1

    Surface Preparation

Surfaces to be rendered must be free from mould release agents, loose particles, dust and any conditions that would adversely affect the adhesion of the render. Cracks and holes in the surface should be repaired using the appropriate INNO-CRETE series repair mortars.

  2. 2

    Primer Application (FOX PRIMERA® FL220)

FOX PRIMERA® FL220 is applied uniformly to the cleaned and prepared surface using a brush or roller. The application rate should be adjusted according to the condition of the surface. On surfaces with a high risk of absorption, the consumption should be increased. Ponding on the surface must not be allowed.

  3. 3

    Priming (FOX DECOPRIMER FL204)

FOX DECOPRIMER FL204 is applied to the primed surface using a suitable roller or brush. To check whether the surface is ready for coating, masking tape is applied approximately 4 hours later. If FOX DECOPRIMER FL204 has provided sufficient conditioning on the surface, there should be no dust on the tape when it is removed.

  4. 4

    Mixing

The appropriate amount of water indicated on the packaging is poured into a clean mixing container. FOX DOMINO® WALL FD787 is slowly added to the water while mixing with an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm for approximately 3–4 minutes until homogeneous. Approximately 6.0±0.25 lt of water should be used per 25 kg/1 bag (approximately 240±10 ml per 1 kg). After allowing the material to rest for approximately 30 seconds, mix again for 1 minute to make it ready for application.

  5. 5

    Application

The prepared FOX DOMINO® WALL FD787 mixture is applied evenly to the surface using a steel trowel. After applying homogeneously to the surface, a texture should be created using a flat plastic trowel with circular movements. The plastic trowel surface should be cleaned frequently while creating the texture. Once the desired texture has been achieved, FOX DOMINO® AC PRIMER FD790 is applied to the surface using a short-pile white velvet roller; 2 coats may be applied depending on the condition of the surface.

  6. 6

    Tool Cleaning

After application, the tools and equipment used should be cleaned with water.

Critical

It is recommended that render application be carried out at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.

Important

In windy conditions, the surface must be protected against rapid drying.

Critical

For the strength of the product, the surface should be wetted at regular intervals within 7 days after application.

Critical

No lime, cement, gypsum or similar materials should be added to the product.

Important

In hot weather applications, 2-coat application is recommended to prevent the risk of cracking caused by rapid drying.

Important

When stored correctly at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, between +5°C and +30°C, the shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture. Opened packages must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.

Important

Store in its original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. For short-term storage, stack no more than 3 pallets high and apply a first-in, first-out dispatch system. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other.

Critical

It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flame.

Important

During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations must be worn.
