Product Description
FOX AQUAFUGA FX150 is a cement-based flex grout consisting of mineral fillers, synthetic additives, special polymers and special powder silicones. Thanks to its water-repellent silicone additive, it offers superior resistance to mould and dirt formation. It has been developed for joints of 2 to 8 mm in surface materials such as tiles, ceramics, granite, natural stone and marble.
The product can be used comfortably in interior and exterior applications, both vertical and horizontal; it is resistant to temperature differences, impacts, vibrations, freeze-thaw cycles and detergents. It meets the TS EN 13888-1:2022 CG2WA (Cement-Based, Improved Performance, Reduced Water Absorption, High Abrasion Resistance) class.

- All wet areas
- Joints in tiles, ceramics, granite, natural stone and marble (joint width 2–8 mm)
Application Steps
- 1
Surface Preparation
Before starting the grouting application, the adhesive must be allowed to gain sufficient strength; a waiting period of generally 48 hours is adequate. Mortar residues in the joints must be cleaned out and the joints cleared. Joints of highly absorbent materials must be dampened before filling.
- 2
Mixing
The amount of clean water specified on the packaging is placed in a clean mixing container. FOX AQUAFUGA FX150 is slowly added to the water while mixing with a drill mixer at 400–600 rpm for approximately 2–3 minutes until homogeneous. No lumps should remain in the mixture. The mixture is left to mature for 3–5 minutes, then mixed for a further 1 minute before use. Mixing ratios: for 20 kg – approx. 6.40±0.20 lt water; for 5 kg – approx. 1.60±0.05 lt water; for 1 kg – approx. 320±10 ml water.
- 3
Application
The mixed material is worked into the joints using a rubber float with diagonal movements. For deep joints, the material should be allowed to settle first, then the process repeated. In extremely hot weather and on absorbent surfaces, the joints should be lightly pre-dampened with a wet sponge. Once the material has reached a firmness that resists finger pressure, the surfaces are finished with a wet sponge and any excess remaining on the ceramic surface is cleaned off.

Tool Cleaning
After application, all tools and equipment used must be cleaned immediately with water. Once FOX AQUAFUGA FX150 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.
The application substrate temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C. Application must not be carried out outside this temperature range.
Before starting the grouting application, a waiting period of generally 48 hours is required for the adhesive to gain sufficient strength.
The service opening time is 24 hours; no load or traffic should be applied to the surface before this period has elapsed.
Excessive water use can weaken the material, causing powdering and cracking. The water quantity must not be altered from the specified ratios.
Using different amounts of mixing water during application causes undesirable colour variation in the joints. Care must be taken to use the same amount of water across different batches.
In extremely hot weather and on absorbent surfaces, the grout material may lose its water rapidly; in such cases, the joints should be lightly dampened with a wet sponge before application.
Joints of highly absorbent materials must be dampened before filling.
Sawdust must not be used for surface cleaning.
Opened packaging must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.
The product must be stored between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
For short-term storage, a maximum of 3 pallets may be stacked on top of each other. For long-term storage, pallets must not be stacked.
During storage and application, contact with skin and eyes must be avoided. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap; if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn during application. Storage and application areas must be ventilated.
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. The product must be stored out of reach of children.
The technical values above are given for conditions of +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Higher temperatures shorten the times; lower temperatures extend them.
