Product Description

FOX BONDPARK FF330 is a two-component, solvent-free adhesive containing polyurethane resin and hardener. It is supplied as a 12 kg set consisting of component A (11 kg, plastic pail) and component B (1 kg, plastic bottle). The product can be safely applied on concrete floors, insulation mats, and many surfaces with sufficient compressive strength for bonding all types of parquet and wood floor coverings, PVC, LVT, granite, ceramic, marble, rubber, and glass. Once fully cured, it provides high resistance to moisture and weathering. It is also suitable for underfloor heating systems. Its density is 1.65 ±0.05 kg/lt and its pot life at +23°C and 50% relative humidity is 30–35 minutes; final cure is completed in 24 hours.

Advantages

  • Excellent gap-filling properties.
  • Very good homogeneous spreading characteristics.
  • Does not shrink even when applied in thick layers.
  • Solvent-free.
  • Provides flexible bonding.
  • Resistant to moisture and weathering after full cure.
  • Suitable for all types of parquet.
  • Suitable for underfloor heating systems.

Usage Areas

  • In interior and exterior areas
  • On concrete floors
  • On many substrates with sufficient load-bearing capacity
  • On insulation mats
  • For bonding all types of parquet and wood floor coverings to the substrate
  • For bonding PVC, LVT, Granite, Ceramic, Marble, Rubber, Glass and similar materials

Application Steps

  1. 1

    Surface Preparation

Concrete substrates must be treated with abrasive equipment such as shot blasting, milling, or diamond grinding to remove laitance and achieve an open-pored surface. Weak concrete sections must be removed, and small voids and holes must be fully opened. The resulting dust must be removed with an industrial vacuum. Anhydrite (gypsum) screeds and absorbent surfaces must be pre-treated with FOX STUCPRIMER FL888 primer. For uneven surfaces, FOX SSL® series ready-to-use levelling screeds should be used.

  2. 2

    Checking Application Conditions

Surface moisture content must be below 4% and there must be no rising moisture according to the ASTM polyethylene sheet test. Relative air humidity must not exceed 80%; attention must be paid to dew formation and condensation. Surface, ambient, and material temperatures must be between a minimum of +10°C and a maximum of +30°C.

  3. 3

    Mixing

Before mixing, ensure that product temperatures are between +15°C and +25°C. Component A is mixed within its own packaging. Component B is then added to the container of component A and mixed with a low-speed electric mixer and a suitable mixing paddle for 3–4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  4. 4

    Application

FOX BONDPARK FF330 is poured onto the surface and spread over the substrate using a suitable notched trowel (B11 or B3 trowel). After waiting 15–20 minutes, the floor covering can be bonded to the substrate. Seaming of the floor covering may only be carried out 24 hours after application. For underfloor heating systems, the heating system must be activated 10 days before installation and switched off during installation. The system may be reactivated 72 hours after installation.

  5. 5

    Tool Cleaning

Tools and equipment must be cleaned with solvent while the product is still wet. Once FOX BONDPARK FF330 has cured, it can only be removed from surfaces by mechanical means.

Critical

Application temperature must be a minimum of +10°C and a maximum of +30°C. Application outside this range must not be carried out.

Critical

Surface moisture content must be below 4%. There must be no rising moisture according to ASTM (polyethylene sheet test).

Critical

The floor temperature must be at least +3°C above the dew point; otherwise, dew formation and condensation will damage the coating.

Critical

Seaming of the floor covering may only be carried out 24 hours after application.

Critical

For underfloor heating systems, the heating system must be activated 10 days before installation and switched off during installation. The system may be reactivated 72 hours after installation.

Important

Before mixing, ensure that product temperatures are between +15°C and +25°C.

Important

Relative air humidity must not exceed 80%.

Important

Tools and equipment used must be cleaned with solvent while the product is still wet. Once cured, they can only be cleaned by mechanical means.

Important

The product must be stored between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight, in a dry environment. Shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture.

Critical

Open flames near storage and application areas are dangerous; these areas must be ventilated.

Critical

Protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn during application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Important

Store out of reach of children. Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas.

Information

The technical values above are given for +23°C and 50% relative humidity. Higher temperatures shorten pot life; lower temperatures extend it.
