FOX REPMORTAR FC135 is a polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced, single-component, ready-to-use, cement-based structural repair mortar. Product Description
FOX REPMORTAR FC135 is a cement-based, polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced, single-component, ready-to-use thick repair mortar. It complies with EN 1504-3 standard class R4. The product can be used for the repair of reinforced concrete structures, filling of tie-rod holes and core drill voids, and can be applied on both horizontal and vertical surfaces in interior and exterior environments. Mixed with water only, it can be applied in a single pass at thicknesses of 5–40 mm. It achieves a compressive strength of ≥45 N/mm² and an adhesion strength to concrete of ≥2.0 N/mm² at 28 days. It is shrinkage-free, resistant to freeze-thaw cycles, and has a capillary water absorption value of ≤0.5 kg/m².h⁰·⁵. The reaction to fire classification is A1 in accordance with EN 13501-1.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be repaired must be sound and free from all dust and dirt. Weak parts on the surface must be removed.

Mixing
The appropriate amount of water indicated on the packaging is placed into a clean mixing container. FOX REPMORTAR FC135 is slowly added to the water while mixing with an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm for approximately 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. No lumps should remain. After maturing the material for 3–5 minutes, it is mixed again for 1 minute and made ready for application. (4.50±0.25 lt of water per 25 kg bag; 180±10 ml of water per 1 kg.)

Application
The prepared mixture is applied in a single pass at thicknesses of 5–40 mm using a trowel. After the mortar has set slightly, water is sprinkled on the surface and the surface is levelled with a sponge, wooden or steel float. In excessively hot, dry and windy conditions, protection against rapid evaporation must be provided for 48 hours using wet hessian cloth or curing materials.

Tool and Equipment Cleaning
Tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water immediately after application. Once FOX REPMORTAR FC135 has hardened, it can only be removed from the surface by mechanical means.

FOX REPMORTAR FC135 must be applied within 30 minutes at +20°C. This time is reduced to 20 minutes at +30°C.

The area applied outdoors must be protected from sunlight, rain, wind and frost for the first 24 hours.

The substrate temperature and ambient temperature must not fall below the permitted minimum temperature (+5°C); otherwise the material cannot complete its curing.

In applications carried out in excessively hot, dry and windy conditions, protection against rapid evaporation must be provided for 48 hours using wet hessian cloth or curing materials.

Working and reaction times of cement-based repair mortars are affected by air temperature, humidity and substrate temperatures. High temperatures accelerate hydration; low temperatures slow it down.

The product must be stored in its original, unopened packaging in a dry and cool environment (between +5°C and +30°C), protected from sunlight and frost. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Opened packages must be resealed and consumed within 1 week.

Work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn during application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

It is dangerous to approach storage and application areas with open flames; these areas must be ventilated.

Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. The product must be stored out of reach of children.
