Application Steps

  1. 1

    Surface Preparation

The surface to be treated must be free of loose particles and all residues that may reduce adhesion, such as oil, grease and dirt. Substances such as filler or paper residues must be removed from the surface. Plasterboard must be firmly fixed to dry, clean and dust-free substrates, and joints must be ensured to be free of dust.

  2. 2

    Mixing

FOX FILL&FINISH must be mixed with an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm before use.

  3. 3

    Dilution

If necessary, FOX FILL&FINISH can be diluted with a maximum of 10% water.

  4. 4

    Application

FOX FILL&FINISH should be applied to the surface using a plastering knife, wide spatula, scraper or similar tools. Plasterboard joints, screw and nail marks must be filled neatly. Screw heads must be filled. The use of plaster joint tape is recommended for joint gaps. When applying multiple coats, the first coat must be allowed to dry completely before applying the next coat.

  5. 5

    Tool Cleaning

After application, all tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water.
