Product Description
FOX FILLER PASTA is an acrylic-based, ready-to-use joint filler and finishing putty. It has been specially developed for filling the joints between gypsum boards and for applying the final finishing coat. The product is effectively used for filling and finishing gypsum board joints, covering screw and fastener heads, repairing lightly damaged gypsum board and plaster block surfaces, and eliminating small voids and surface defects. Its low shrinkage minimises the risk of cracking, while its high adhesion creates a strong bond to the surface. Its easy-to-apply and easy-to-sand nature accelerates surface preparation processes prior to interior paint application.

Surface Preparation
The surface to be treated must be free of loose particles and cleared of all residues that could reduce adhesion, such as oil, grease and dirt. Substances such as putty or paper residues must be removed from the surface. Gypsum boards must be firmly fixed to dry, clean and dust-free substrates; ensure that the joints are free of dust.

Mixing
Before use, FOX FILLER PASTA must be mixed with an electric mixer at 400–600 rpm using a Collomix KR type mixing paddle.

Dilution
FOX FILLER PASTA can be diluted with water if required.

Application
FOX FILLER PASTA should be applied to the surface using a plastering knife, wide spatula, scraper or similar tools. The first coat is applied so as to fill the gypsum board joint completely. The joint tape is placed over the joint while the product is still wet, pressed firmly to eliminate any air pockets, and then covered with another layer of product. Screw and fastener heads are also filled with the product. The second and any subsequent coats are applied after the previous coat has dried completely.

Sanding and Cleaning
Once dry, the surface may be lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper if necessary, and the resulting dust must be removed completely. After application, all tools and equipment used must be cleaned with water.

Hot weather shortens the drying time; cold weather extends it.
Important
For thick-layer applications, longer drying times may occur depending on temperature and humidity.

The second and any subsequent coats must be applied only after the previous coat has dried completely.

In its unopened packaging, the product can be stored for 12 months in a cool, dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight. The lid must be closed airtight immediately after use.

To preserve packaging integrity, pallets must not be stacked on top of each other and should be arranged in a single row. First-in, first-out principles must be observed during shipment.

Approaching storage and application areas with open flames is dangerous. Storage and application areas must be ventilated.

During application, appropriate work clothing, protective gloves, goggles and a mask must be worn in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Critical
Avoid contact with skin and eyes during storage and application; if contact occurs, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Important
Food and beverages must not be brought into application areas. Store out of reach of children.
