FOX PURRAZZO CONTACT is a polyurethane resin-based, two-component, solvent-free, self-levelling micro terrazzo coating system with antibacterial properties. Layer structure: PRIMER HB primer, optional BASECOAT intermediate coat, FOX PURRAZZO CONTACT coating (3.5 kg/m²), FOX PURRAZZO CONTACT STONE broadcast (1.2 kg/m²) and TOPCOAT WB clear matt top coat.

Purrazzo Contact is offered in 18 stone colours; the natural stone texture comes from the broadcast coloured aggregate blend. The colour choice does not change the layer structure.

About Purrazzo Contact

Purrazzo Contact is a polyurethane based broadcast micro terrazzo floor coating system that gives spaces a warm and natural feel with its natural stone touches. A coloured aggregate mix is broadcast onto the UV resistant, water repellent coating; it stands out through its durability and elegant appearance.

The concrete surface is prepared with abrasive equipment, primed with FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB and broadcast with quartz sand; if there is any undulation it is levelled with FOX EPOTHANE® BASECOAT. The FOX PURRAZZO CONTACT A and B components are mixed and poured onto the surface at a consumption of 3.5 kg/m², spread with a trowel and broadcast with FOX PURRAZZO CONTACT STONE at 1.2 kg/m². After at least 48 hours the surface is sanded and the FOX PURATHANE® TOPCOAT WB clear matt final coat is applied.

Consumption figures are given for ideal conditions at +23 °C; they may vary depending on the surface and ambient conditions. A site visit with our expert team is recommended before the system solution.

Which floors can it be applied to?

Applied to concrete floors at least 3 weeks old with ≥25 N/mm² compressive and ≥1.5 N/mm² tensile strength; moisture must be ≤4%, the floor temperature at least +10 °C and 3 °C above the dew point. Cement laitance is removed by shot blasting, milling or diamond grinding; repairs are made with FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER + quartz sand mortar.

Is the Intermediate Coat (FOX EPOTHANE® BASECOAT) mandatory?

No, it is optional; it is applied if there is undulation on the surface or if preferred. For conditions outside the standard, contact technical service for system details.

How is it maintained?

The seamless (jointless) surface does not hold dirt; it is easy to clean, requires minimum maintenance and is simple to repair. After application the coating must be protected from direct water contact for at least 24 hours.

What are the colour options?

Each Purrazzo system is offered with its own colour chart; the desired design can be achieved with different RAL colour options. The colours on the chart may differ from the original colours depending on the printing technique and the ambient light.

Where does the stone texture come from?

FOX PURRAZZO CONTACT STONE is a coloured aggregate blend developed for the broadcast terrazzo system; it is broadcast at 1.2 kg/m² onto the fresh coating and the natural stone appearance emerges after sanding.

When is the coating ready for use?

At 20 °C it is opened to foot traffic after 24 hours and to light traffic after 3 days; it reaches full cure in 7 days. At 10 °C these periods extend to 30 hours / 4 days / 10 days.

RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION PERIODS FOR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be stored for the retention periods specified in the relevant legislation or for as long as the processing purposes mentioned above require. At the end of this period, the data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised in full compliance with the KVKK. In this context, a Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy and the related procedures have been prepared and are applied.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

In order to protect your personal data and to prevent unlawful access to it, our Company takes the necessary administrative and technical measures in line with the Personal Data Security Guide published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, draws up internal procedures, prepares disclosure and explicit consent texts and, pursuant to Article 12/3 of the KVKK, carries out, or has carried out through external services, the audits necessary to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the KVKK.
