FOX PEBBLEDECK® SYSTEM is a pool floor coating system resistant to sunlight and pool chemicals, formed by combining natural pebbles of different colours and proportions with transparent glass granules and a polyurethane-based binder. Layer structure: FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB epoxy primer, FOX PEBBLEDECK® AGGREGATE coating blended with FOX STONECARPET® BINDER PU polyurethane binder, FOX PURFUGA FX145 PEBBLE joint filler and FOX DOMINO® PU SEALER FD793 transparent top coat.

About PebbleDeck Pool Coating

Fox Pebbledeck® is a pool coating system made of natural pebbles, developed to give pools the natural character of their surroundings. Depending on the angle of the sun and the depth of the pool, the pebbles appear in different colours under water; the light changing through the day creates a sparkle and a natural harmony on the surface. Its non-slip structure and its surface resistant to impact and staining make it ideal for pool and spa areas continuously exposed to water and chemical cleaners.

The pool wall is prepared with render modified with FOX BINDER FM125, a fall screed is laid on the floor and the waterproofing is completed. The concrete surface, from which the cement laitance has been removed with abrasive equipment, is primed with FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB using a steel trowel or roller (0.25-0.4 kg/m²). FOX STONECARPET® BINDER PU components A and B are mixed and added onto the FOX PEBBLEDECK® AGGREGATE; the homogeneous mixture is spread with a suitable trowel or screed rail. After approximately 24 hours the joints are filled with FOX PURFUGA FX145 PEBBLE and the surface is cleaned with a sponge and FOX PEBBLEDECK® THINNER. After 24 hours FOX DOMINO® PU SEALER FD793 is applied in at least two coats by brush, roller or spray (24 hours between coats).

The pool is filled after the coating has completed its 7-day cure; the water pH value must be kept between 7.2 and 7.6. Consumption figures are given for ideal conditions of +20 °C; a site visit with our expert team is recommended before the system solution.

Which surfaces is the system applied to?

The pool concrete must be at least 28 days old and of at least class C20, with a tensile strength of at least 1.5 N/mm², a moisture content below 4%, a substrate temperature of at least +10 °C and 3 °C above the dew point. The pool wall is prepared with render modified with FOX BINDER FM125, a fall screed is laid on the floor and the waterproofing is completed. It can be applied over existing ceramic or BTB coatings once loose parts have been removed and repairs have been made, using the appropriate Epothane Primer.

When is the pool filled?

After the coating is completed it must be protected from direct water contact for at least 24 hours. The pool is filled after the system has completed its 7-day cure; the pH value of the pool water must be kept between 7.2 and 7.6.

How is it maintained?

Daily, weekly, monthly and annual pool maintenance must be carried out regularly; chlorine and other chemicals must be diluted and used in products approved by the Ministry of Health. The protective top coat (sealer) is renewed every 2 years; under heavy use (an average of 200 people per day) the joint filler should be renewed every 4-5 years.

What do colours ending in TP mean?

For colours carrying the TP suffix on the colour chart (Blue Lagoon TP, Sandy Beach TP, White Pearl TP, Sky Blue TP, Only White TP) a transparent joint filler is used; the joint colour does not mask the natural colour of the pebbles. For the other colours the joint filler is in the colour stated on the chart.

Why is the coating non-slip?

The surface consists of tumbled natural pebbles half-embedded in the polyurethane binder; this texture gives a non-slip surface even when wet and creates the feeling of walking on a seashore.

How do the colours look under water?

Although the pebbles are of different colours, they appear in varying colours under water depending on their surroundings, the angle of the sun and the depth of the pool. The colours on the chart may differ from the originals depending on the printing technique and the ambient light.

FOX PEBBLEDECK ® AGGREGATE consists of 2-4 mm aggregates in different colours whose edges have been rounded by the erosive action of water, particularly along streams and shorelines.

FOX PURFUGA FX145 PEBBLE is a polyurethane-based, two-component, solvent-free grout specially developed for use in FOX Pebbledeck systems and swimming pools. It offers high resistance to pool chemicals and hygienic application.

FOX DOMINO® PU SEALER FD793

FOX DOMINO® PU SEALER FD793 is a single-component, polyurethane-based, solvent-borne transparent topcoat protective material that prevents dusting on all types of concrete floors, imparts a glossy appearance, and provides water-repellent properties.

High abrasion resistance; prevents dusting and creates a harder surface.
Provides waterproofing; prevents cracking that may result from freezing.
Used as a polish thanks to the glossy film layer it forms.

FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB-HD

FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB-HD is a two-component, thixotropic, solvent-free epoxy primer set offering high bond strength to damp and fresh concrete as well as steel surfaces.

Data subjects other than employees, such as customers, potential customers, visitors, job candidates/interns and the employees, shareholders and officers of the institutions we cooperate with, may also address their requests to our Company under the KVKK.

RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION PERIODS FOR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be stored for the retention periods specified in the relevant legislation or for as long as the processing purposes mentioned above require. At the end of this period, the data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised in full compliance with the KVKK. In this context, a Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy and the related procedures have been prepared and are applied.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

In order to protect your personal data and to prevent unlawful access to it, our Company takes the necessary administrative and technical measures in line with the Personal Data Security Guide published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, draws up internal procedures, prepares disclosure and explicit consent texts and, pursuant to Article 12/3 of the KVKK, carries out, or has carried out through external services, the audits necessary to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the KVKK.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, everyone has the following rights concerning themselves by applying to the data controller:
