About Betonage Pool

Fox Betonage® Pool is a coloured coating with a natural concrete appearance that allows minimalist designs in your pools with no seams or joints. With its resistance to temperature changes, its anti-slip properties and the scope it offers for more modern, ground-breaking designs, it is an ideal option for creating the pool you have in mind. Its monolithic appearance unites the pool with the terrace and its surroundings in a single material language.

The pool's reinforced concrete must have a compressive strength of at least 25 N/mm² and a tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm², with a moisture content below 4%; the cement laitance is removed with abrasive equipment. Waterproofing is completed with FOX MULTISEAL® STANDART and the surface is primed with FOX UNIPRIMER FL555. FOX BETONAGE® POOL BC is mixed with its polymer and FOX DOMINO® COLOR WB pigment (~250 g polymer and ~10 g pigment per 1 kg of powder) and applied in two coats with a trowel onto the dampened surface; each coat is sanded with 60 grit after it has dried. Following the FOX UNIPRIMER FL555 transition primer, FOX BETONAGE® POOL FC (~312.5 g polymer and ~12.5 g pigment per 1 kg of powder) is applied in two coats. The surface is protected with at least two coats of FOX DOMINO® AC SEALER FD796 applied by roller or brush (4 hours between coats).

Consumption figures and times are given for +23 °C and 50% relative humidity; a site visit with our expert team is recommended before the system solution.

Which surfaces is the system applied to?

It is applied to fully cured pool reinforced concrete with a compressive strength of at least 25 N/mm², a tensile strength of 1.5 N/mm² and a moisture content below 4%; to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. The surface is opened up to an open-pored condition with abrasive equipment and waterproofed with FOX MULTISEAL® STANDART.

How are the colours obtained?

FOX BETONAGE® POOL BC and FC are stocked as a white powder; the 7 colours in the chart are obtained by adding FOX DOMINO® COLOR WB pigment to the mix. The colours in the chart may differ from the original depending on the printing technique and the ambient light.

Why jointless?

The coating consists of microconcrete layers applied continuously with a trowel; as there are no seams or joints, the pool gains a monolithic, minimalist appearance and no dirt-collecting joint lines are formed.

How is it maintained?

The surface is resistant to pool chemicals, non-slip and easy to clean, which keeps maintenance costs low. The protective top coat FOX DOMINO® AC SEALER FD796 can be renewed according to the intensity of use.

Are the floor and the wall done with the same system?

Yes; FOX BETONAGE® POOL BC and FC can be applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces, and the pool floor and walls are coated with the same layer structure and colour.

A separate policy applies to the processing of the personal data of our employees (including interns and subcontractor employees) whose personal data are processed by our Company. Data subjects other than employees, such as customers, potential customers, visitors, job candidates/interns and the employees, shareholders and officers of the institutions we cooperate with, may also address their requests to our Company under the KVKK.

RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION PERIODS FOR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be stored for the retention periods specified in the relevant legislation or for as long as the processing purposes mentioned above require. At the end of this period, the data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised in full compliance with the KVKK. In this context, a Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy and the related procedures have been prepared and are applied.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

In order to protect your personal data and to prevent unlawful access to it, our Company takes the necessary administrative and technical measures in line with the Personal Data Security Guide published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, draws up internal procedures, prepares disclosure and explicit consent texts and, pursuant to Article 12/3 of the KVKK, carries out, or has carried out through external services, the audits necessary to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the KVKK.
