FOX PURRAZZO SOLE is a polyurethane-based, two-component, solvent-free, glossy, UV-resistant, seamless and coloured, self-levelling flexible floor coating system. Layer structure: FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB primer, optional FOX EPOTHANE® BASECOAT intermediate coat, FOX PURRAZZO SOLE coating (~2.0 kg/m²) and FOX PURATHANE® TOPCOAT WB clear matt top coat.

Purrazzo Sole is the basic self-levelling polyurethane coating of the series; it has the widest chart with 31 colours. The colour choice does not change the layer structure.

About Purrazzo Sole

Purrazzo Sole is a polyurethane-based, self-levelling, comfortable and flexible decorative floor coating system designed for modern and aesthetic flooring requirements. It is UV resistant and does not yellow; with its crack-covering ability, high walking comfort and sound-absorbing structure it is used indoors and outdoors.

The concrete surface, from which the laitance has been removed with abrasive equipment, is primed with FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER HB and broadcast with 0.1-0.3 mm quartz sand; if the surface is uneven, the FOX EPOTHANE® BASECOAT intermediate layer is applied. The FOX PURRAZZO SOLE A and B components are mixed and poured onto the surface, spread with a notched trowel and deaerated with a spiked roller (~2.0 kg/m², recommended thickness 1.5-2.5 mm). The cured surface is protected with the FOX PURATHANE® TOPCOAT WB clear matt top coat. Its surface, which does not allow germs to form, is easy to clean for hygienic environments.

The consumption figures are given for ideal conditions at +23 °C; they may vary according to the surface and ambient conditions. A site inspection with our expert team is recommended before the system solution.

Which floors can it be applied to?

Applied to concrete floors at least 3 weeks old with ≥25 N/mm² compressive and ≥1.5 N/mm² tensile strength; moisture must be ≤4%, the floor temperature at least +10 °C and 3 °C above the dew point. Cement laitance is removed by shot blasting, milling or diamond grinding; repairs are made with FOX EPOTHANE® PRIMER + quartz sand mortar.

Is the Intermediate Coat (FOX EPOTHANE® BASECOAT) mandatory?

No, it is optional; it is applied if there is undulation on the surface or if preferred. For conditions outside the standard, contact technical service for system details.

How is it maintained?

The seamless (jointless) surface does not hold dirt; it is easy to clean, requires minimum maintenance and is simple to repair. After application the coating must be protected from direct water contact for at least 24 hours.

What are the colour options?

Each Purrazzo system is offered with its own colour chart; the desired design can be achieved with different RAL colour options. The colours on the chart may differ from the original colours depending on the printing technique and the ambient light.

What sets Purrazzo Sole apart from the series?

Sole is the basic self-levelling polyurethane coating of the series and has the widest chart with 31 colours. Dual builds on this base with a blend of two Sole colours, Point with sound insulation, Contact with a natural stone broadcast, and Mix with a polyurethane terrazzo structure.

When is the coating ready for use?

After the application is completed the coating must be protected from direct water contact for at least 24 hours; in resin-based systems the curing times depend on the ambient and floor temperature, and low temperatures extend these times.

A separate policy applies to the processing of the personal data of our employees (including interns and subcontractor employees) whose personal data are processed by our Company. Data subjects other than employees, such as customers, potential customers, visitors, job candidates/interns and the employees, shareholders and officers of the institutions we cooperate with, may also address their requests to our Company under the KVKK.

Our Company processes personal data only for the purposes and under the conditions set out in the personal data processing conditions specified in Article 5, paragraph 2 and Article 6, paragraph 3 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. Where your Personal Data is processed on the basis of explicit consent, we would like to point out that if you withdraw your explicit consent, you will be removed from the commercial membership programme for which the processing based on that explicit consent is necessary, and that as of the relevant date you will no longer be able to benefit from the advantages you enjoyed through such processing.

RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION PERIODS FOR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be stored for the retention periods specified in the relevant legislation or for as long as the processing purposes mentioned above require. At the end of this period, the data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised in full compliance with the KVKK. In this context, a Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy and the related procedures have been prepared and are applied.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

In order to protect your personal data and to prevent unlawful access to it, our Company takes the necessary administrative and technical measures in line with the Personal Data Security Guide published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, draws up internal procedures, prepares disclosure and explicit consent texts and, pursuant to Article 12/3 of the KVKK, carries out, or has carried out through external services, the audits necessary to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the KVKK.
